Why do my legs hurt when i walk?

I have these really bad leg pains. My dad when me was 32 had to have surgery for his legs because his leg mussels would cut off circulation to his feet. Im 15 and having the same problems and sometimes have pains in my bones. plus i was wondering if there is a cure for shin splints because ive had them since i was a baby.
