My panter is just out of a&e and he got a xray for pains in lower back and finding it hard to breath ?

Thy said it was a inflamed mussel in between his lungs and ribs. I dnt think this is rite can any1 tell me what this realy is? He is finding it very hard to breath in and get a sharp pain in lower back.can any1 help?
