My throat is pain when i am swallowing or gulp?

some extra mussel grow near the tonsils its yellow in color ,it will be there two or three days after that it will detached from that possition..i can see when i am brushing my teeth ..i thinking its for cold .(i can feel this type of problem in cold season only why ) ..what type of precaution ... i can take in my food ..something else
